CPC Members,

The Club has once again booked gym 2 at the CCC for some Saturdays and Sundays between November and April.

These are the dates we have paid for this year:

Saturdays:  November 2, 9, and 30, December 14 and 28, January 11, 18, and 25, February 1, 8, 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15, April 5

Sundays:  January 5 and April 13

All of the sessions run from 10am – 12pm, with the exception of March 1, 8, and 15 which run from 10am-11:30am.

Last year was a bit of an administrative nightmare for Lori A.

As a result, we have put the following rules in place this year.

1)  There will NOT be a wait list this year

2) There are 18 available dates, so each person is permitted to book 9 of these only.  If spaces are available after the ‘first round’ of signups, members will be notified that they can book more dates

3)  If you sign up and can’t make it, no money will be refunded

4)  No one is permitted to take your spot if you are unable to make it

5)  If you book a spot after the new year, you must pay your membership fee of $50 for 2025 in January

6)  Only those who have paid for their session will be permitted entry

7)  The fee will be $3 for each date which just covers the rental of the courts.  E-transfers must be sent to our new treasurer, Mark Robson at Treasurer@cobourgpickleballclub.ca before your spots are confirmed. It would be very helpful if everyone could put “(Your name) and indoor fall/winter pickleball” in the comments section of your e-transfer

8)  24 spots per session are available

Chris Hanley has graciously volunteered his time to assist with this.
